Three days, three cities, lots of flights, sixty one attendees and one great big success! For the third consecutive year, Fusion has partnered with industry experts from GradConection, Vieple and Together Creative to deliver our Graduate Recruitment Master Class! We kicked things off in Brisbane on Tuesday, followed by Sydney on Wednesday and we wrapped things up with a massive day in Melbourne on Thursday; at Fusion we are clearly a little crazy!
Each full day session (with yummy snack breaks and lunch provided), was attended by some of the graduate industries brightest and most curious minds. Attendees were encouraged to share their knowledge and experience and to network with other graduate professionals, sparking interesting discussions and exploration of new ideas. Each day was structured to first explore Attraction and Selection, moving onto Development Programs and Talent Management in the afternoon.
Every Master Class was tailored to each unique audience with the range of topics including:
- how to establish the perfect Graduate Program
- creating an attractive Graduate Value Proposition (GVP)
- building the ideal attraction campaign
- leveraging best practise recruitment methodology
- the key elements of stakeholder engagement
- market innovations including Video Interviewing and Graduate Passport
- how to design and build a successful Development Program
- how to successfully retain graduates post Graduate Program
Our audiences ranged in size; the smaller sessions in Brisbane and Sydney provided a fantastic opportunity to direct discussions around specific issues currently faced by graduate professionals. Our largest Master Class in Melbourne provided attendees with some unique perspectives from some of the industry’s biggest, and smallest graduate employers. Attendees commented on how much they enjoyed the open forum discussions, and mentioned that they were most excited to hear about the current market trends and innovations we have been seeing.
Stuart Amm from Together Creative entertained the audience with some exciting innovations in the advertising space, Resh Perera showcased the amazing targeting and reporting capabilities available through GradConnection and Dina Ward from Vieple introduced many to the fantastic world of Video Interviewing.
